Artificial Intelligence Essential to Global B2B

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA - Internet Business Systems, Inc., Chairman & CEO, Alan Metcalfe said today that he remained convinced that artificial intelligence (AI) is critical to understanding how to develop fully integrated, fully interoperable, semantic, e-business systems.
"Cloud computing and all these other developments are not the final answer. They are band aids on a much more serious problem."
"Many in the computer industry dont want to hear this, but it is true."
Mr. Metcalfe said that AI has long been the holy grail of computing. However, because it has proven difficult to achieve, many have come to the conclusion it is not possible.
"This is a big mistake," he said. "It is like saying that one can understand computing without understanding how binary code works."
Mr. Metcalfe said that artificial intelligence (AI) is the binary code of logical communication.
"What binary code is to distintegrated, non-interoperable computing, like we have throughout the world today, AI is to fully integrated, fully interopable computing."
Mr. Metcalfe said that he made the breakthrough in understanding how artificial intelligence (AI) exists and works in 1999, after almost 20 years R&D. That breakthrough knowledge has now been applied to the creation of the Safe Worlds system.
"When we release the Safe Worlds system, the world will see that we have made this important breakthrough in computing science."
Until then, I understand that some people will doubt that it is true.
"Most people find it very difficult to believe that discoveries of this magnitude can come from outside the 'industry establishment', but that is the record of history. Most of the big breakthroughs in science have come from outside the 'establishment', from unknowns."
